Big Brother 2014: Bosses pick brainiest housemates to date using IQ tests

New series of Big Brother will pit boffin housemates against each - even allowing them to use technology for the first time

Housemates for the new series of Big Brother have taken IQ tests to ensure they are the brainiest cast in the show's history.

Rebranded as Big Brother: Power Trip, the Channel 5 reality show will see contestants negotiate a series of mind games that will test their
limits in the house.

As well as the geeky new format, housemates will also be given technology for the first time ever - allowing them to access social media sites.

2013 winner Rylan Clark promises that it will lead to one of the most memorable shows to date.
"This year they’re very, very clever and they’ve all been IQ tested." He told the Daily Star. "They are the type of people who will do anything to get what they want.

"It’ll be a fight to the finish.”

Producers hope that allowing contestants limited access to Twitter and Facebook will add more tension - as they will now know what the public think of them.

The new series begins next month and will reportedly star Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom among the housemates.
