Lupita Nyong'o makes a major Hollywood move

When you win an Oscar and everyone loves you, the doors start to open up.
Cue Lupita Nyong’o pulling a boss move and casually optioning some film rights.
She hopes to bring author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s book Americanah to a movie theater near you at some point.
Adichie, also a boss, is not new to this game. Her novel, Half of a Yellow Sun, is already a movie, starring Thandie Newton and Nyong’o’s 12 Years a Slave co
-star Chiwetel Ejiofor.
And, oh yeah, it’s Adichie’s voice you hear in the middle of Beyoncé’s song Flawless. Yeah, really. And, it’s taken from her insanely smart TED talk on feminism.
Yep, they woke up like dis. #bossmoves
